The Line for an intense dramatic high!

Last night I was fortunate enough to attend the Cape Town opening of Gina Shmukler’s play, The Line, at the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio.

Focusing on the South African xenophobic attacks of 2008, The Line accounts these violent episodes through a series of viewpoints, both from victims and perpetrators, as well as those caught in the middle. The cast is made up of Khutjo Green and Gabi Harris, who manage to keep the audience anxiously captivated from beginning to end.

This gripping piece is not one to be missed, but is only running in Cape Town until the 7th of April, so time is of the essence. So HURRY!

Performances on April 3rd and 4th are at 7pm, and April 5th at 11am. Tickets can be bought at the Baxter or through Computicket for R120.
