UCT Annual Summer School 2023 – an annual pilgrimage to this festival of learning for many alumni, staff and friends, is back in person again in January next year.
“Join us in celebrating 73 years of lifelong learning at the university’s prestigious Summer School – the only programme of its kind in Africa” – an invitation hard to resist!
Participants will be able to attend lectures by their favourite lecturers and many exciting new presenters on fascinating topics, browse the book shops, attend the free film programme, mingle over drinks after a lecture by JP Landman and a performance by radio personality John Maytham, meet old friends and be part of the university community again.

For those not able to attend in person, the practical writing courses, language courses and one art courses are available online.
