‘Unsettled narratives: now and then’ is a visual record of the impact of changing conditions, a mirror reflecting the memories of the life as it was in District Six, satirical comment on the law and land ownership, a multi-faceted view of the city seen by a culturally diverse group of artists invested in the subject they portray.
Humanity when challenged can be surprisingly inventive in pursuing unrealised aspirations.
