If you don’t yet have plans for this coming Freedom Day Weekend, why not head down to the first ever Utopia Music Festival being held at Nekkies Resort (about an hour out of Cape Town). The line up caters to all music tastes, whether you’re into techno, deep house, folk rock or Afrikaans rock, Utopia promises to have it covered with their three pumping music stages. And if music’s not your thing, the comedy stage will keep you entertained with some of SA’s funniest up-and-coming comedians.
The festival will run from 26 – 28 April, and ticket prices range from R380 (for a full weekend pass) to R70 (for just a Sunday pass), all available via Webticket. Weather reports are looking great and Utopia appears to have all the ingredients of a winning party, so if festivals are your thing, this is one that shouldn’t be missed!
