For the kids
The  Centre for Art Education (CFAE) is known for its amazing children’s holiday programmes and this year is no different. In a series of creative workshops, your little ones will learn about colour while making a variety of two- and three-dimensional works of art. The safe and child-friendly classroom spaces invite them to explore their creativity through a variety of wet and dry mediums and well-planned activities in painting, drawing, collage and 3D construction aimed at a variety of ages. Book a spot for one of the workshops taking place between 14 to 18 December here.

A highlight on our CFAE calendar is The Giving Tree project, where CFAE invite children and their parents or guardians to participate in a creative activity to encourage all to celebrate this festive season with their own unique cultural aspect. The idea is inspired by the Islamic fabric talisman called an azeemat, Hindu prayer flags and, of course, Christmas decorations. Children and parents are invited to adorn a bare tree with objects created by them in our studio. These objects will be donated to children’s organisations that CFAE work with. This programme will take place on 11 and 18 December, and is free to all. For more information, email
