A memorable New Year’s Eve? According to Big 7 Travel, the Mother City is one of the best places in the world to ring in the New Year.
The online publication listed the 50 best places across the globe to do your countdown, and was compiled by 1.5-million readers who voted on the places they would most like to celebrate New Year’s Eve, while taking into account each city’s festivities and awards for the final ranking.
At this point, it comes as no surprise that Cape Town made it into the top 10, for our high level of festive cheers as well as our bustling V&A Waterfront which is described as “brimming with magic and wonder well into the New Year”.
Among our best celebratory attributes are the live performances on offer, fun characters to behold, delicious food and all the colour and light waiting to be enjoyed.
