‘Faith and Feminism’ is a panel discussion on at Woman Zone Story Café on October 26 at the Woman Zone Library Hub located at theArtscape Theatre Centre.
- Philomene Luyindula is a French teacher, translator and author of The Widening of the Womb – a collection of short stories giving voice to Old Testament characters, written from a feminist perspective.
- Mooniq Shaikjee is a lecturer and researcher in the Linguistics dept at UWC with interests in the intersection between language, gender, sexuality and faith.
- Rev Berry Behr is Chair of the Cape Town Interfaith Initiative and South African co-ordinator for the Charter for Compassion.
- Dr Miranda Pillay represents the South African Faith and Family Institute SAFFI as member of the organization’s Theological Advisory Council on Gender Based Violence.
